March 2024
In January, I predicted the newest book of stories from the Daylight universe would be 'Not coming anytime soon'. April is much sooner than I would have expected, but it could happen.
Watch for Dappled With Daylight, another mix of ordinary and Holiday stories to be available, Spring 2024. See the Dappled With Daylight page for excerpts.
As promised on my author fb page (Author Jennifer Ballard) For March, I have posted the Daylight St. Patty's Day story, Irish Lies. If you missed reading the new Valentine story in February, it is part of the upcoming collection, Dappled With Daylight.

January 2024
The last few months of 2023 threw some curveballs into my personal life, as I shared on my fb page, Author Jennifer Ballard. However, writing is my lifeline for navigating and surviving difficulty, so I'm continuing to create; It's just not in an organized fashion and my WIPs keep fighting for priority. This results in slow progress (but it's progress), and I may not have any finished work for a while.
Probably NOT coming soon, but eventually.
Some things my Muse has me doing in random fashion is working on not just two, but now three unexpected new Daylight stories. Adding these to some already completed (but not yet released) stories, will likely result in a new collection. However, with progress struggles in both creating and editing, I likely won't have anything completed soon.
Also rather a shock, my muse offered me some help with my frustrating literary problem child known as Book Four. I still don't see it being completed even as a first draft in the near future, but I had almost given up on it completely, so this is a potentially positive development.
Free Holiday story
As we have Gotten through the December Holiday, I have updated the Story page with a New Year's story. It is one from the collection, Ribbons of Daylight. If you haven't read it, check it out. If you have read it, it's a fun story - read it again.
NEXT UP: For February, I have a NEW Valentine's story that hasn't been released. I will post it on the story page, sometime next month.

October 2023
A new, never before released Halloween story has been posted on the story page. It was written LAST Halloween, but I hadn't shared it yet. I have a few more Daylight stories completed that I also have not released yet. AND jumping ahead of a non-Daylight project I have been working on, the Daylight cast has again interrupted me with yet more Halloween and Fall shenanigans. So, I will have more (unplanned) Fall Holiday fun coming soon.

Ribbons of Daylight
A third collection of Daylight stories - a mixture of both holiday and mundane, but none of them ordinary - is now available. Meet Rags; as lovable and mischievous as his canine friend Sam, but slightly more...complicated. Among the popular non-corporeal characters, Keenan proves he can be as moody as some of his cohorts, and Sarah shows her 'playful' side, which is just as questionable as everything else about her.
AND THERE'S MORE...
Watch this space to see what's ahead for Helen, Patrick and their friends and family in the fourth book in the Daylight Series (Working Title: Without Daylight). UPDATE: Don't hold your breath on this one. It keeps getting bullied back to the end of the queue by new stories.
